The Westgate Association in partnership with Central Gloucester Initiative and Gloucester Rotary Club, will organise the above event.
We invite a mixture of ‘genuine’ stallholders,
re-enactment groups and relevant traders from within the County to
exhibit alongside Westgate Street shop owners and their stalls. Everyone
(including stallholders) should dress in Medieval costume for the day. Street
entertainers, jugglers, jesters,
music and dancing will all create
the atmosphere required.
The Westgate Association is a voluntary organisation, made up of Westgate Street businesses, which have joined together to promote Westgate Street and its wealth of history. The Fayre is intended to raise funds for local charities and provide Gloucester residents and visitors with a superb family fun day.
