Saturday 2nd June 2007
10.00 am The Gloucester Walkers will be greeted at
Gloucester Cathedral Gates by
The Bishop of Gloucester, Michael Pelham and Peter Lacey,
Headmaster of Kings School
Westgate Association & Central Gloucester Initiative will wish the Walkers well on their walk. Photographer opportunity
10.30 am Arrive Archdeacon Meadow - Gloucestershire Cricket Ground - to be met by Tom Richardson, Chief Executive of Gloucestershire Cricket Club and the Cricketers
10.30 am photo shoot
Walkers to walk boundary of cricket field collecting money in aid of Help the Aged.
11.00 am Walkers proceed to Over Farm
Monday 4th June Depart Over Farm towards Newent.
Walk to Much Marcle, Nr Newent.
Stay overnight.
Tuesday 5th June Much Marcle to Hereford Cathedral to be met and welcomed into Hereford.
Wednesday 6th June Depart Hereford and proceed to Bromsyard.
Thursday 7th June Depart Bromsyard and walk to Worcester Cathedral to be met and welcomed into Worcester.
Friday 8th June Depart Worcester to Upton on Severn.
Friday 8th June (same day) Depart Upton on Severn by Boat and return to Gloucester.
Saturday 9 June
10.00 am Arrive in Gloucester. Welcomed into Gloucester’s Medieval Fayre by the Sheriff of Gloucester Cllr Jan Lugg and President of Gloucester Rotary, Tony Tetley
